We’re in the HOME STRETCH! Please help us complete this picture with your donation today. Our goal is $178,800 and we are half way there. Please give to Higher Ground’s HOME STRETCH Campaign!
Highland Woods – a place to call Home – will be ready for occupancy in February 2016.
Your support is needed to fund items that will truly make Highland Woods a lovely place to call home. This community of 40 affordable, rental apartments will soon be home to those displaced by Tropical Storm Irene and others who are 55 and older (62 and older after first lease up) or disabled of any age. Funds are needed for paved accessible walkways, an accessible community garden, a garden shed, landscaping for this 4-acre site, and interior furnishings for the community room, lobby, health suite, and sunrooms at the ends of each hallway where residents can enjoy the views.
